With our main focus on helping women and girls who have the least access to resources and opportunities, PRO initiatives go through a rigorous selection process which is informed by different strategy on each issue.

We are leading change and sharing knowledge: PRO researches and shares the most effective approaches to helping women and girls reach their full potential, and has developed a strategy for ending violence against women, moving low-income women out of poverty, and building strong, resilient girls. This ensures impact in our funding and guides organizations helping women and girls across Romania.

We are establishing best practices: We bring together organizations that work with women and girls for skill development and knowledge exchange, and work with them to develop evaluation tools that build the most effective practices for helping women and girls.

We are building a community of women helping women: PRO is advancing the potential for women to become powerful agents of social change.

PRO helps women and girls reach their full economic and social potential, we believe that Romania will reach its true potential when women and girls can reach theirs. Through our work, women and girls will be empowered to live without limits: to become economically independent, to be free from violence and to be full contributors to society. This will result in a safer, stronger and more prosperous society for all of us.
